Privacy policy
This policy covers allaicompanionsites.com itself. It does not cover the third-party platforms we list — each of those has its own policy (which is exactly what our trust scores evaluate).
No accounts, no profiles
This site has no user accounts, no sign-up, and no login. We do not build profiles of visitors, and nothing you do here is linked to an identity.
Anonymous ratings
When you rate a listing, we store the star value together with a one-way keyed hash (HMAC) derived from your IP address and browser user agent. The hash exists solely to stop the same visitor voting twice on the same listing and to let you change your own vote. Your raw IP address is never stored with a rating, and the hash cannot be reversed into one. Submitting a listing through the submit form stores only what you type into the form.
Outbound-click and view counters
Links to listed platforms go through our /go/ redirect, where we log which listing was clicked, the referring page, and the browser user agent — this is how we account for affiliate referrals and measure which listings people find useful (see the advertising disclosure). Listing pages also increment an anonymous aggregate view counter. Neither log stores your IP address alongside an identity, and neither is shared with the destination platform.
What we keep in your browser
The site stores a single flag in your browser's local storage recording that you confirmed the 18+ age gate, so it doesn't ask on every visit. It never leaves your browser. Clearing site data removes it (and the gate will ask again).
Analytics
If analytics are enabled, we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and processes data under Google's privacy policy. We look only at aggregates, never at individual visitors. Standard web-server logs (IP, URL, timestamp) are kept briefly for security and debugging, then rotated away.
No sale of data
We do not sell, rent, or trade any data collected on this site, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers strictly needed to run the site (hosting, and analytics as described above). We hold platforms we review to this standard; we hold ourselves to it too.
